Julie MacKissock is a Middle School Creative Writing teacher, writer, and fiction editor, currently living in Denver, CO. When she is not writing, or lesson planning, or grading, she is singing “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes” or “Baby Shark” with her 19 month old daughter. Julie and her husband Matt, hope to be singing literally anything else, very, very soon. Her two dogs are hoping the baby keeps throwing her food on the floor – extra treats are the best! Julie has worked for Cherry Creek School District for 5 years, and before that worked in the Aurora Public Schools. Her work has appeared in the Orange Door Hinge Literary Anthology. She is the ghost writer for Chef Jennifer Jasinski’s cookbook,  The Perfect Bite. Her novel, THE HOARDER ON LAKEVIEW LANE, is currently available for submission.
